Incorrect Site Counts are Displayed

Problem

The bracketed statistics displayed next to category names specify an obviously incorrect amount of sites. For example, you make an @link to Arts/ which displays as Arts@ (450 sites, 7 new).

Solution

If you are seeing this problem on the public-side of the Directory it is possible that there is simply a backlog in the Page Re-generation queue; in which case the problem should rectify itself in due course. More likely, however, is that the problem prevails directory-wide --both edit-side and public-side. In this case Staff will have to run a corrective script that will take some time to finish. There is no need to alert anybody of this.
