Public-side of Category Does Not Reflect the Changes Made on its Edit-side

Problem

You have performed edits in a category (for example: adding a site, creating an @link, or modifying a description) but the public-side of the category does not reflect your changes.

Solution

Public pages are static. Periodically, they are all updated, en-masse. Generally this process will happen almost instantaneously (or, at least, after a couple of minutes), but occasionally the Page Regeneration Queue becomes backed-up -- may be caused by the server being busy, systems maintenance, or a new RDF dump being produced. If this happens, your only recourse is to wait.
